Parrot Security Linux Pentesting OS is a relatively new player on the Linux Hacking Distro scene but has a devoted and committed development team (known as the Frozenbox Network. The distro is a cloud friendly operating system designed for Pentesting, Digial Forensic, Reverse engineering, Network and System Hacking, Cloud pentesting, privacy/anonimity and cryptography.

Parrot OS targeted at penetration testers and people interested in online anonymity and complete encryption. The image combines professional and beginner computer security tools inside the MATE Desktop environment, a GNOME2 fork.

The user can boot into a digial forensic mode, listed as Stealth – and therefore avoiding modifying any file in the host computer, live, live fail safe or with a graphical GUI to install the operating system in your computer, visually impaired people can use a speech synthesis installer.
