Eric Leblond is a Free Software and Security hacker. He started as lead developer for the NuFW project – with the objective being to establish a safer and stricter way to identity filtering on a network firewall. In 2004, he co-founded a company to promote the project and was the CTO till 2011. He’s also a member of Netfilter coreteam where he works on kernel and userspace interaction. He is the maintainer of ulogd2, the Netfilter’s userspace logging daemon. He has started working on the IDS/IPS Suricata in 2009 and he is currently working the OISF as developer. He is also a freelance consultant.
