What does that mean?

Imagine that you have a free offer or trial for your product or service. Why not experiment to get more out of those freeloaders?

For example, imagine that you offer USD$ 7 for a 7 day trial for the full features.

Try out an alternative option.

For example, the trialist can either pay the USD$ 7 or you can offer the same free trial in exchange for “a like” on Facebook, a positive review, or a “share” or whatever!

The benefit here is that you are giving an option.

If the value of a positive social signal to you is USD$ 7 then you’ve just positively impacted your business.
