Industrial Control Cyber Security Europe 2016, September 26 – 28, 2016, London, United Kingdom
SCADA Cyber Security Events are increasing over time. We notice that there are more events coming online each year. This event is now running for the third year. Organized by “The Cyber Senate” this event, titled: “[The] Annual Industrial Control Cybersecurity Europe” brings key stakeholders together to address the responsibility practitioners have in ensuring the smooth operation of the UK’s Critical National Infrastructure. This event will also bring together the “Public and Private Partnerships” debate in that they are paramount within an information sharing capacity. The event will be addressing key areas of vulnerability, threat detection, mitigation, and planning for the Water, Utilities, Oil and Gas, Nuclear, Power and Smart Grid Energy sector. If you work within a Cyber Security SCADA/ ICS niche then clearly this is for you.
3rd SCADA & Cyber Security for Power and Utilities Industry 2016, September 28 – 30, 2016, Berlin, Germany
Staying on the SCADA/ ICS Cyber Event theme, we notice that a few days after the British (London based) SCADA Conference there is one which is very similar taking place in Berlin. The “3rd SCADA & Cyber Security for Power and Utilities Industry 2016” will focus on (according to the organizers) “…practical sessions and brainstorming of main crucial issues, cyber threats (internal and external), latest EU legislative updates, critical SCADA infrastructures, ICS secure development life-cycle and convergence of IT & OT…” All the invited speakers will be discusses issues that they feel are vital to cyber security challenges, are they were selected based on highly qualified suggestions from industry professionals. Attending this event, again according to the organizers, “….will enable you to network with cyber security peers during face-to-face sessions and the event is an excellent opportunity for sharing the ideas and ongoing challenges in the energy and utilities field….”. Sounds good enough to us!

SecureWorld is a series of cyber events and conferences totaling 14 per annum. These 14 regional InfoSec events prepare and move IT professionals “on the front lines.” If you’re in the Dallas area and work in Cyber Security then clearly this event is for you. We’ve blogged a lot on Cyber Security Conferences taking place in India, indeed, here’s our Top Five Events that we believe take place in India each year. This event, titled: “HAKON 2016, Uncover the Ebola of the Underground Black Market; a New Era of Digital Terrorism.” HAKON sounds like an awesome event and we are really happy to help and promote it as much as we can. This event clearly has an Indian Cyber Security angle and has a really great line up of speakers from the Police, Digital Forensic experts, and a whole bunch more. Here is the link to the speakers. It’s also worth mentioning that Kerala will now also get its’ first Cybersecurity Conference titled: 0SecCon.
