This is a medical cybersecurity event: topics addressed will cover changes to regulations including the practical insight into industry operations and practical steps towards compliant and efficient cybersecurity as well as the new FDA pre-market and post-market guidance.

International Conference On Cyber Security (ICCS) has been going on for years now. Fordham are firmly fixed within the cybersecurity conference scene. This years event (which I think traditionally took place at the start of the year) features three days with more than 70 distinguished speakers from government, the private sector, and academia. In the words of the organizers, this event brings: [an] “…exceptional networking opportunity by providing a rare chance to learn and speak with leading cyber security subject matter experts and solution providers from throughout the world…” Sounds good to us and we are always delighted to help and promote this event. The ususal SANS high-standard of training; but this time focusing in on SCADA/ ICS. This training event is aimed at getting cyber pro’s geared up with equipping both security professionals and control system engineers with the security awareness, work-specific knowledge, and hands-on technical skills they need to secure automation and control cybersecurity system technology.
The 13th International Joint Conference on e-business and Telecommunications – ICETE 2016, July 26 – 28, 2016, Avenida dos Combatentes Lisbon 1600-042, Portugal
ICETE 2016 is a seminar aimed at bringing together researchers, engineers and cyber practitioners interested on communication technologies, including data communication networking, optical communication systems, security and cryptography, signal processing and multimedia applications, and wireless networks and mobile systems. These are the main knowledge areas that define the six component conferences, namely: DCNET, ICE-B, OPTICS, SECRYPT, SIGMAP, and WINSYS, which together form the ICETE joint conference.

This event will be held in Manchester, UK, on July 26-28, 2016. In the words of the organizers: “….The event will be held over three days, with presentations delivered by researchers from the international community, including presentations from keynote speakers and state-of-the-art lectures…” Definitely worth mentioning that we are really interested in this space. Indeed, here’s our ISIS & Cyber Security Training Course (which is worth CEU/ CPD).

Africahackon is a cybersecurity conferences taking place in Africa. We posted a blog on cyber events taking place in Africa here.
This event has an ICT angle that includes architects, electrical engineers, designers and business IT security professionals.

Say no more. Black Hat is mega. This year it is six days long and features days of intense Trainings for security practitioners of all levels (July 30 – August 2) followed by the two-day main event including over 100 independently selected Briefings, Business Hall, Arsenal, Pwnie Awards, and more.

Taking place in Moscow, this event is clearly aimed at academic and folk interested in data mining and data processing.
