Summary of Cybersecurity Conferences Happening This Week [Week 27, 2016]

Henry Dalziel | Information Security Conferences | July 6, 2016

In keeping with tradition, this is our weekly summary of Cyber Security (InfoSec) events, conferences that are taking place this week.

For a full listing of all cyber events throughout 2016 please view this page and for upcoming events in 2017 please click here.

We’ve only got one event down! Looking rather lonely, the only event that we have identified this week is the ECCWS event in Germany.

15th European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security ECCWS, July 7 – 8, 2016, Neubiberg, Germany
Although this is the only conference we see scheduled for week (which incidentally is very unusual for us to only list one event) – it sounds like an awesome event. According to the organizers, this cyber security conferences attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, military personnel, practitioners and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of the cyber security community.

ECCWS, as it is abbreviated to, is expected to have delegates from more than 30 countries, and the Journal of Information Warfare will be publishing the presentations (white papers) that will be shared at this conference.
