UK Cyber View Summit 2016 – SS7 & Rogue Tower Communications Attack: The Impact on National Security and Privacy, June 29, 2016, London, United Kingdom
The UK Cyber View Summit 2016 is one of the UK’s premier cyber evets. There are a ton of them in London but this is an interesting one in that it is very specific. This event actually demonstrates a real scenario of espionage by exploring communication flaws such as SS7 that generated so much hype in the media. We love the idea of this ‘hands-on’ type of cyber meeting.
In this example, the organizers of the scenario are going to cover Rogue Towers and the use of IMSI-catchers in a state sponsored attack “where spies and terror groups will not only intercept communications for full SIGINT operational capability but will also cause disruptions to critical infrastructure through SS7 Networks compromise.” We love it. If you attended please get in contact with us and we will write a specific blog post on the event.
DC/ Metro Cyber Security Summit, June 30, 2016, McLean, VA, United States
The Cyber Security Summit, is an exclusive C-Suite conference series (aimed at CISO’s etc) that is designed to connect senior level executives responsible for protecting their organizations’ critical cyber networks and data. Think of these events rather SC Congress and you’re there.
